The Clinical Minute: Cypress Adaptive's Symphonie Aqua System

Written by SPS | Nov 29, 2018 9:50:00 PM

In this segment of The Clinical Minute, Sam Brouillette, CP, CFo and Manager of Clinical Education provides an in-depth overview of Cypress Adaptive's Symphonie Aqua System.

Symphonie Aqua System Overview

The Symphonie Aqua System is a casting process for accurately capturing the contours and tissue displacement of a limb under full weight-bearing conditions. Using hydrostatic pressure, the limb transfers evenly to the casting material, reducing the need for modifications, or multiple socket fittings. Because of the full-contact, weight bearing casting method, the patient is able to provide feedback concerning bony or sensitive parts of the limb.

Clinicians can choose from two different Symphonie Aqua Systems:

Symphonie Aqua System Vector Control comes with the transtibial cylinder and a vector control. The vector control can be used with the app to calculate the recommended pressure according to the patient’s weight, circumferential measurement, and residual MPP level.

Symphonie Aqua Compact comes with the vector control attached to the transtibial cylinder. At only 50 lbs, this model is ideal for clinicians who travel and needs a system that can be used for remote fittings.
