Thuasne USA’s Area Director of Clinical Education Jak Kesselring, CO, MSPO, joins SPS Clinical Education Manager Sam Brouillette, CP, CFo, to discuss the unique features of Knit-Rite’s Soft-Sock Prosthetic Sock Multi-Pack.

Knit-Rite introduced the Soft-Sock Prosthetic Sock Multi-Pack to make it more convenient for ordering. Each Multi-Pack contains six of the lightweight 1-ply, three of the 3-ply, and three of the 5-ply Soft-Socks. With the Multi-Packs, you don't have to order each ply separately.

The Soft-Sock, just as the name implies, is sewn out of incredibly soft materials for prosthetic patients. Clinicians can order the Multi-Packs with or without the ‘Eye Hole’ for locking suspension. One of the unique features of the Soft-Sock and Knit-Rite’s knitting practices is they sew in the reinforcement at the end of the sock so clinicians do not have to attach a separate piece that creates a little raised area for locking liners.

The Soft-Sock comes in two versions:
CoolMax: the material is comprised of a mix of Lycra and CoolMax fibers to wick moisture away from the skin and inhibit odor.

X-STATIC: the material contains a mix of Lycra, CoolMax, and Ionic Silver Fiber. The Silver Fiber helps with moisture, temperature, and odor control.

The Soft-Sock Multi-Pack comes in the following sizes:
