The Trulife Lerman Minerva cervical orthosis is an exceptional option for stabilizing the cervical spine and upper thoracic spine after injury or surgery. In this episode of The Clinical Minute, SPS Senior Clinical Education Specialist Liz Hillen, M.Ed, CPO, LPO, provides a quick overview of the Lerman Minerva.

Product Overview:

The Lerman Minerva supports and stabilizes C2-T3 stable fractures, muscular/ligamentous injury, degenerative joint disease, cervical pain, and nerve impingement.

The Lerman Minerva is composed of a non-ferrous material and has an anterior and posterior shell that is joined by torso and shoulder straps.

The posterior section is attached by occipital support, which can be adjusted vertically. A sliding mandibular support is attached to the anterior shell, which can also be adjusted.

A forehead strap is included to provide additional support for the patient.

Sizing
To determine the correct size for your patient, measure from a neutral chin position to the inferior portion of the xiphoid process. The sizing includes adult regular, adult small, and pediatric.

The Trulife Lerman Minerva cervical orthosis smart adjustability features and streamlined design makes it a great go-to for patients needing stabilization.
